Why me
I have written about film professionally since 2009, with work at CHUD.com, 411mania, Yahoo Movies, CBR, ScreenRant, ComicBook.com, and more. I am a voting member of the Oklahoma Film Critics Circle. I am also the author of Dollar Deal: The Story of the Stephen King Dollar Baby Filmmakers, the definitive account of King’s Dollar Baby program.
What sets my perspective apart is that I have been on both sides of the camera. From 1999 to 2010 I made independent short films, including my own Stephen King Dollar Baby adaptation, “I Know What You Need,” which screened in four countries. I know what it takes to make a film, not just to write about one.
